I was fascinated by Miceal's theory on Orb's as fluorescing beings and had similar observations myself. I wanted to take the experiment into a different direction - that of shooting straight into fluorescing streetlamps. I have been astounded by some of the results which are shared on this page. Each photo is followed by a close up, with the contrast and focus enhanced for more clarity on the close up photos only. To enlarge the photos, please click on them.

For the technically minded amongst you, I used a Samsung P1000 10.2 megapixel digital camera. The camera settings were on automatic flash mode, ISO 400, AV F 2.8, TV 1/45.
In all there were 4 hours between the shots, because in between the first and last shots I went to eat at around 17:00 and then moved on to the Ely Cathedral Xmas Carol Service. The first two spherical shaped craft photos were taken at 16:16, the one without streetlamp at 18:11, and the hat-shaped craft at 20:06 and 20:07 respectively. For comparison, I have included daylight photos where possible.
